Gut diversity: the simple way to support your microbiome

🦠 A healthy gut isn’t about one food, one supplement, or one “perfect” protocol. It’s about diversity.

🧪 Different gut microbes thrive on different fibers and plant compounds. The more variety you eat, the more diverse your microbiome becomes. That diversity is linked to better digestion, stronger immunity, improved mood, and more resilience to stress and dietary changes.
You don’t need to track grams of fiber or chase exotic foods. Small, consistent variety goes a long way.

🔧 Tip: Try the “3 plant colors a day” rule.
Aim for three different plant colors daily (greens, reds, purples, oranges). Over the week, that naturally builds diversity without overthinking.
If you want to go further, rotate fiber sources like beans, lentils, berries, chia, flax, cruciferous vegetables, herbs, and spices.

At Vagal, we make gut health practical and sustainable, not overwhelming.
